Hello! I am The Cursed Inkwell, or “Inky” for short!

I make Spooky art, Cursed cartoons and Creepy Creations for my own enjoyment!

I began seriously pursuing art innnnnn checks sketchbooks 2024, although that wasn’t the first time I picked up a sketchbook. It was however the first time I kept at it, deciding to work on improving instead of just putting it down and giving up after a few weeks.

So why Horror stuff? why create creepy things? Excellent question!

I have always been aware of spooky stuff, as a little inkwell I had night terrors in the worst way, and was generally considered to be a “scaredy cat”.

Easily frightened by anything unexplained, I would literally jump at shadows in the dark when I had to take out the trash late at night.

As years have passed, I have learned to harness this, and use it to fuel my art, I now have a pretty good appreciation for a lot of Horror media, and now avidly consume the things that used to terrify me as a kid.

Like a lot of Artists, My influences stem from media I’ve consumed that has had a profound impact on me! I’ve always loved cartoons, and seeing the resurgence of certain styles in media makes me extremely happy, because you don’t see a lot of it these days. we have lost the passion for ridiculous things, and I feel like that should be brought back.
